3rd Party Event Calendars blocking Image uploads in Listings

I’ve tried using The Events Calendar and Modern Event Calendar and both seem to be blocking Listings from uploading images.

Steps to reproduce

Activate and deactivate either plugin and try uploading images.

Actual result

When the plugin is activated I can’t upload images to a listing.

Expected result

I should be able to upload images.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with third-party plugins.

We recommend that you use the Bookings extension, it is fully compatible.

We’re looking at a 3rd party plugin in order to have actual events not involving the rental of properties. Can the booking plugin be used to add site wide events and be displayed in a calendar format?

Hi,

Our loading is made via the REST API. After that, the core WP function, wp_handle_upload. Everything should work if there is no URL conflict, etc.

Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists.

I have bookings on the site and setup already, however after digging through it, it doesn’t allow me to manually add events unrelated to properties. It appears it’s only for people to book listings. Is there any way to have a developer look at my site or hivepress to see if there is a fix for my issue? I really need a calendar to display events, and I don’t want to have to try and use Google calendar.

Sorry, unfortunately we can’t debug conflicts with third-party plugins, this is beyond our support scope. There are tens of thousands of third-party plugins and we can’t guarantee compatibility with all of them, and it wouldn’t be possible since plugins have different implementations and sometimes may conflict.

Please consider using a separate listing category as a workaround (this way you can keep different listing types within the same site, and without using another plugin), or if this event plugin is required you can hire a freelancer to debug this (they may check the PHP and JS error logs) https://fvrr.co/32e7LvY
