In the Search Bar, How to show the List of Location LIKE the List of Category ?
For information, we don’t want any Map but only search for Listings by Location and Category with a list of Location and Category in the search bar
But we can see a TEXT Field for Location in the Search bar !!!
If we cannot search for Listings by Location and Category with a list of Location and Category in the search bar, THEN we could add an Attribute with a List of Countries but the User has to select again the country (List of more than 200 countries) every time he changes Categories …!!!

For information, We don’t need any Map or Geolocation like Google …
To search for Listings, we just need a search bar with a list of Location and a list of Categories … no more … but until now, we can see the ‘Location’ Field in the Search Bar but it’s a TEXT Field instead of SELECT List like the ‘Category’ Field …
If we cannot do it, we plan to add one more Attribute to search for listing by Location, called ‘Market Area’ (Multiple Select) with the option below

America
Asia
Europe
Middle East
Oceania
‘Market Area’ Attribute offers a quick search (6 options only)
and a search with ‘Country’ Attribute too (long list of all countries) …

Thanks for the request and details. Please note that by default, there is no feature to show regions as a drop-down list in the search bar; this would require custom implementation. However, we plan to add this feature in future updates.
As a workaround, if you don’t have many regions, add them as a listing attribute using this documentation How to add listing attributes - HivePress Help Center. Also, disable the Geolocation extension in WP Dashboard > Plugins.

No problem, we are going to remove the Geolocation Extension and add one attribute called ‘Market Area’ with a list of Continents … it’s good like that …

When the Search features with a list of Region will be added, then we will add it and update manually the existing Listings … not a large number of Listings but for many years …
For information, we were using Joomla and move to WordPress for the new sites because Woocommerce offers a large number of Payment Gateways …
