I want to make global discounts on my page. When I create a coupon and apply it, the coupon discount is deducted from the seller’s balance. I would like the seller’s balance to remain the same as before the discount, but the value paid by the user is with the discount applied. Is that possible?
If you mean deducting the coupon from the website revenue, without affecting the vendor balance unfortunately there’s no easy way to do this because the vendor balance is always based on the order total paid by the user on checkout, so coupons that lower the order total also affect the vendor balance. For example, if there’s a $10 coupon and you set a 10% commission rate, and the order amount is $100, the buyer will pay $90 with the coupon and once the order is completed the vendor will see $81 on their balance.
