I created two categories and when my existing users wanted to post a listing they where redirected to “complete profile” form where they had to select one of the category they were then allowed to go to post listing form
but then I deleted these categories, as I was just testing it out and now my users when they clicked on add listing button they get redirected to the Complete Profile form but after they hit save changes they aren’t able to go to the add listing form it is just stuck on the Complete profile form please help, I don’t want use the categories now
I also enabled the vendor listing page option in hivepress settings and assigned a page
Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users. Also, make sure that you don’t have any other mandatory vendor attribute.
Hi Andrii, I did everything but to no avail as I had read the previous queries,if you visit my site www.scrapit.in and register you would find that there are no mandatory fields everything is optional, attaching screenshot below for your refrence, I have also shared temporary access link with you on email to check what is causing this issue
I have solved this, i tried to deactivate the plugins, removing the mandatory vendor attributes and reset the permalink structure but nothing worked, so I deleted the user and recreated the user and reuploded the listings and that solved the problem, hence closing this, hope you will have a look at the bug from vendor categories in the future as it seem to be causing issues.
