after updating to version 1.7.28, in my hivepress site a lot of listings expired (they were not supposed to expire for days) and some of them disappeared… they are no more in listing page nor anywhere else…
will a restore of database backup bring them back?

in my hivepress sites a lot of listings expired even though the duration hasn’t ended yet (they were not supposed to expire for days/months). My clients are going crazy..

As of midnight last night every time hivepress/v1/events/hourly fires 10 listings are expired (actually moved to draft status).
All listings have expiry dates in the future.
I’m still using the Paid Listings plug in. All listings are affected whether submitted by a user or added by myself on the dashboard.
Go to tools scheduled actions and then hit run on hivepress/v1/events/hourly
10 listings move to drafts.
Nothing.
Other users reporting the same. I bulk edited and changed all listings back to published status but as soon as hivepress/v1/events/hourly fires again they start moving back to draft.
My site is effectively useless at the moment. (UPDATE - temp fix in place below).
TEMPORARY FIX
I’ve stopped hivepress/v1/events/hourly from running completely.
I’ve then moved all drafts back to published status.
With 1 in place hivepress/v1/events/hourly simply fails and the jobs stay published.
WARNING - if you explore this fix for yourself be aware that this stops everything that hivepress/v1/events/hourly is responsible for so will have other consequences.
Same issue for me. You should be able to find them in drafts and move them back to published status without needing to do anything with the database - however as soon as the hivepress hourly cron fires they’ll be moved back to draft and off your site until this is fixed.

This is horrible….
I definitely need a bug fix urgently… I have more drafts than published listings… don’t know which one to send back from draft… 
And the worst part is that a lot of listing went to drafts and than they disappeared!! My site is almost without any listing now…. 
Can I roll back to previous Hivepress version?

Same here. All listings had disappeared, except for my own (as an admin) and those from a higher user role.
I was only able to save the system by restoring a full backup.
But I’m glad now that the bug came directly from HivePress, because I actually thought another plugin was the cause, but I couldn’t figure out which one.

This situation is also a good reminder of just how valuable having regular backups is. We always recommend keeping backups as a best practice, since they make situations like this much easier to recover from quickly, regardless of the cause.

Could you please tell me why almost all of the expired listings were also automatically deleted?! My website has only a few listings left in draft status because they were deleted at various intervals. Can I restore them?
