Analytics Links Keeps Dropping

Hi,

I’m having to revoke and grant access multiple times a day to maintain the link to analytics. This seemed to begin happening a few days ago, but I’m not sure. In the listing page, I get this message - Request had insufficient authentication scopes.

To resolve this, I go to HivePress>Settings>Integrations, click revoke and then grant, sign in with Google, and the data comes through… until it doesn’t again.

Can you please help me troubleshoot?

Thanks,
David

I just granted access about an hour ago and it was working, but I get this error message now too.

In addition to this issue, I get this message when granting access:

Google hasn’t verified this app The app is requesting access to sensitive info in your Google Account. Until the developer (myemail@gmail.com) verifies this app with Google, you shouldn’t use it. If you’re the developer, submit a verification request to remove this screen.

When I click on the 4 scopes that are being requested, one of them is to see and download Google Analytics data.

I’m assuming the “Request had insufficient authentication scopes” is because the following scope is not added to my OAuth.

Adding this scope requires verification by Google, which also requires a YouTube video to demonstrate how it’s being used.

Before I do this, I just want to confirm this is what I need to do to resolve this issue.

Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users. The site may be cached for logged-in users. If this issue exists, please send temporary WP access to support@hivepress.io with details for reproducing it, and we’ll check it (please send only the link without login and password). You can create a temporary access link using this plugin: Temporary Login Without Password – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org.

did you end up going through the verification process, or were you able to resolve without? TIA
