Are vendors visible if they don't have listings?

If a vendor doesn’t have any current listings can their profile be found?

I don’t have a Vendors page, but on the vendors profile, they can add their Website, however, I prefer that was only possible if they are contributing by having a current listing.

Is this possible?

Hi,

By default, a vendor is a user who has submitted at least one listing. Suppose you haven’t enabled direct vendor registration. In that case, vendors won’t appear in search results since the only way to find them is by visiting their page directly from a listing or by manually entering their username in the URL.

Could you please clarify if you want to hide vendor profiles when there’s no active membership plan? This option is available for listings through Expiration Period and Listing Limit settings. Vendors have different restriction options, you can limit message sending (preventing vendors from responding to customer messages until they purchase a plan, which motivates plan purchases), restrict offers, or limit adding and renewing listings.

As mentioned earlier, if you don’t have a dedicated vendors page with search functionality, vendor profiles can’t be found without active listings since users can only reach vendor pages through the sidebar on individual listing pages.
