Automatically create a category search alert for vendors

Hi there, I made a request and unfortunately it is sending to others that are outside those categories… I do not know what else to do.

Please let me know if you have the Search Alerts extension installed and activated in WordPress/Plugins or you’re testing with the default notification feature in Requests? I recommend disabling the default notifications in HivePress/Settings/Requests, it’s a simple feature that sends notifications to all vendors.

The snippet provided above works with the Search Alerts extension, please try enabling it and add the snippet, then if you register as a new test vendor please check if the search alert is created after you registered in Account/Search Alerts. There should be a search alert for the request categories that match the category vendor selected for their profile (by category name, for example if the vendor category is “Plumbing” and there’s a request category with the same name in Requests/Categories, search alerts will be created for this category).

Hi,

You can see alerts in Account > Searches, as shown in this screenshot. Regarding setting up Search Alerts, please refer to this tutorial.
