# Booking slot duration

Hi,

If you don’t need the slot duration, you can disable time-based bookings. If you need to use time-based bookings, but don’t need the slot duration option, you can use a code snippet for that, but please note that further customization may be required:

```auto
add_filter(
	'hivepress/v1/forms/listing_update',
	function( $form ) {
		if ( isset( $form['fields']['booking_slot_duration'] ) ) {
			$form['fields']['booking_slot_duration']['required'] = false;
		}

		return $form;
	},
	1000
);

add_filter(
	'hivepress/v1/forms/listing_update',
	function( $form ) {
		unset( $form['fields']['booking_slot_duration'] );

		return $form;
	},
	1000
);

```
