# Charge commission after the booking is confirmed

Hi I would like to charge a 10% booking fee/commission for short term rentals and get the guest/user to pay that to my Rentalhive website system as soon as the host confirms the RTB.

I then confirm with host that the deposit/ booking fee is paid and the booking is then confirmed.

The Guest then pays the Host directly on arrival.

How would I set that up on Rentalhive

Hi,

Please note that this will only work if the booking request feature is enabled, the commission is set, and the Direct Payouts method is enabled. To enable booking requests, simply edit your listing and check Manually accept new bookings. The commission can be set up using this documentation [How to set up commissions - HivePress Help Center](https://help.hivepress.io/article/95-how-to-set-up-commissions). Direct Payout can be enabled in HivePress \> Settings \> Payouts ( With direct payouts, only the commission fee is paid on your website. The rest, buyers should pay sellers in person. So, this mode works only if both parties meet in person _(e.g., if you list offline services on your website_).
