Create custom request form

Hi @eventacoweb-cell,

If you mean that you would like to add checkbox options to the add listing details page, simply create an attribute in the back-end of WordPress under Listings > Attributes.

You can define the input type on this page. Depending on the type you select, you may need to save the attribute and refresh the page. This will then allow you to input the options available for end-users to select.

Re: conditional fields - I don’t believe these are currently built-in to HivePress, but the staff will likely respond tomorrow, and, may be able to provide guidance on the best approach to help you achieve this if you’re comfortable with coding, or willing to hire a developer.

Thanks for the request. Unfortunately, there is no simple way to add everything as in the example above, so this will require advanced customization. However, as CrisB has already clarified, you can add custom checkbox attributes using this documentation: How to add listing attributes - HivePress Help Center

I think it’s perfectly possible. The idea is not new, any form builder has an option to copy data from one form to another. I uploaded a snippet from an abandoned project to the net. I’m not a coder, just a fan, I like Hivepress, these guys made an extremely versatile plugin. So I used a js to get the data from a form and put it in hivepress. It’s an option to consider for developers, because many use forms, which help, simplify the filling out of forms many times. I see it as very useful for the Request part in particular. I would like to see from the developers of this project an implementation like that, i.e. a more complex native form or using the copy option already implemented by form builders to fill out the hivepress form.
