Creating Custom 'Post a Request' and 'List a Service' Pages

Hello,

I have a question regarding requests and services.

I want to create a ‘Post a Request’ page or a ‘List a Service’ page for each category.

This is because I want the questions for each item to be different for each category.

For example, since I am creating a travel-related site:

For Category 1:

• Travel dates
• Departure location
• Arrival location

For Category 2:

• Number of people
• Number of suitcases
• Travel duration

Consumers can click on the category and fill out questions like the ones above to post, and freelancers can see these posts and offer their prices.

Additionally, when clicking ‘Post a Request’, there are currently three default fields that need to be filled out:

Title Budget Description

I would like to remove all three of these fields.

Hi,

Unfortunately, there’s no such feature, it would require a custom implementation. We recommend using listing or request attributes and limiting them to categories: How to add listing attributes - HivePress Help Center (when editing an attribute from the backend, select the category you need on the right sidebar).

I want to create various quote URLs. For example, Post a Request, Post a Request2, Post a Request3, and so on, with different attributes set for each button.

If this is not possible, could you also help me understand the customization costs?

It seems that there was a confusion, if you mean adding different fields to the listing/request forms depending on the selected category, then it’s possible - you can simply assign custom attributes you create in Listings/Attributes and Requests/Attributes to categories, they will appear and be required only if the corresponding category is selected.
