Customising default templates

I am using ListingHive and need to do simple customisations to default forms, for example changing the title of the form. (ex: change “Complete Profile” to “Enter Organisations Details” in the add new vendor form, or change the name of the label of some fields (for example “Location” [from the Geolocation plugin] to “Address”.

I also need to change the order of fields how they are displayed in the form. For example, I added a custom “Organisation Name” attribute which is currently showing towards the bottom of the form and I need it higher up.

I understand I need to add some code snippets and have installed a ‘code snippets’ plugin in Wordpress. Now I need a ‘tutorial’ on how to locate the particular form name and how to apply the required changes.

Your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi,

Please use the Loco Translate plugin to change the text: How to change any static text - HivePress Help Center. If this is your listing attribute, I recommend specifying the order number by editing the attribute on the right sidebar.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you for your response. I only need to change a couple of words and am a bit reluctant to install the Loco Translate plugin for this simple change, for fear that it might impact the site performance. Is it possible to do it through CSS or some code snippet pls?

Hi,

Please note that this is the easiest way to change the text, and it does not affect the website’s performance. All other changes will require customization.
