Does featured listing rotate automatically

Hi there,
If I select multiple listings to be featured, for example 12 listings, but I have only space to feature 4 listings. Would it rotate between all the 12 listings or would it only show the first 4 listings that are featured?

Hi,

Featured listings will be randomly displayed in four spots. That is, after each page refresh, there will be different listings out of your 12.
