I want to create drop down attribute for years 1900-2024 in which user can select. I tried using number & number range for sorting but it shows decimals which does not look good i.e. 1,906 etc . How can I make year attribute in front end & filter year range or sort year range in search section.

Unfortunately, there’s no such feature, it would require a custom implementation.
But as a workaround, you can create an attribute with number type and number range type in the search section.
