Hi

thanks for the updates.

Could you explain how to set default values for attributes? (It’s now possible to pre-fill default values for attribute fields.) I assume it is an option to create an attribute and give it already a value before a user can fill it in…right?

And does Fixed integration with WooCommerce HPOS mean that Hivepress is now fully compatible with HPOS? Can we go to Woocommerce>Settings>Advanced>Features and select High-performance order storage (recommended) after syncing the orders?

Just realized that the default values for attributes are only for the Search fields. But the other question remains

Hi,

The Default Value field appears in the Edit section of the attribute settings, but only if this field is marked as Required (it currently works this way to prevent the value from resetting to the default value when the field is cleared). Please also note that the Deafult Value field appears for specific attribute types (e.g. Text, Textarea, Number, Date).

Although the HivePress code is HPOS-compatible now, there are still WooCommerce-specific extensions that need the same update, I recommend enabling HPOS only after these updates (for example, if you use Bookings or Marketplace, we plan to update these within 2 weeks).
