How can I force advertisers to check attributes when creating their listing?

Hello everyone,

I am a new user of WordPress, woocommerce and hivepress.

I would like to create a classified ads site specific to a single type of sports product.

All the added value of my site lies in the fact that buyers can filter products in an extremely detailed way.

To achieve this, I’ve created attributes to filter items.

However, when the advertiser clicks on add an ad, he only has to fill in the title, photos and a description.

I’d like to force them to choose from the attributes I’ve created so that the ad can be filtered perfectly by buyers.

Do you know how I can do this?

Je souhaite créer un site de petites annonces spécifique a un seul type de produit de sport.

Toute la plus value de mon site réside dans le fait que les acheteurs puissent filtrer les produits de manière extrêmement détaillée.

Pour cela, j’ai créé des attributs permettant de filtrer les objets.

Toutefois, quand l’annonceur clique sur ajouter une annonce il ne doit remplir que le titre, les photos et une description.

J’aimerais l’obliger à choisir parmi les attributs que j’ai créé pour que l’annonce puisse être filtrer a la perfection par les acheteurs.

Savez vous comment je peux faire ceci ?

Hi,

If these are custom attributes, you need to enable the required feature for this attribute in the settings; please check this doc: How to add listing attributes - HivePress Help Center. You may need a PHP snippet to do this if it’s a built-in attribute.

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I have created attributes to facilitate ad filtering.
However, I can’t force advertisers to choose among the attributes I’ve created when they publish their new ad.
I only do no code so the PHP snippet thing doesn’t speak to me at all haha but thanks for your feedback.

Effectivement, j’ai créé des attributs afin de faciliter le filtrage des annonces.
Toutefois, je ne parviens pas à obliger les annonceurs à choisir parmi les attributs que j’ai créés au moment où ils publient leur nouvelle annonce.
Je ne fais que du no code donc l’histoire de PHP snippet ne me parle pas du tout haha mais merci pour ton retour.

Please ensure you create attributes using this doc How to add listing attributes - HivePress Help Center and that Allow front-end editing is enabled for this attribute. If this issue exists, please provide more details regarding this issue (e.g., your actions step by step with screenshots, etc.). This will help us to reproduce and resolve the issue faster.

Its finally works !
I just accepte the editing in public and now you have to select the attributs when you are publishing a New listing !
