How to change orders menu item from buyers

This is the menu view for a buyer:

I need a code snippet to change “Orders” to something else.

I’m assuming I can use this same code to change “Bookings” by just substituting “Orders” with “Bookings”, but if not, could I get that as well, please?

Thank You,

Hi,

You can change this menu item using Loco Translate, please check this doc How to change any static text - HivePress Help Center. You can find this string in Loco Translate > Plugins > HivePress Marketplace.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Thanks Andrii. Yes, we did use Loco Translate to change this for the vendor’s menu view and it changed successfully for the vendors menu. But this did not change it for the buyers menu.

Here’s a screen shot of the buyers menu after we made the change in Loco Translate:

Hi.

Sorry for the confusion. You can find this string in Loco Translate > Plugins > WooCommerce.

Ahh… I didn’t realize there would be any translations in Woo Commerce… No worries Andrii. Thank You!!

Hi Andrii,
So, making the suggested change in Loco Translate>Plugins>WooCommerce, changed the Order Header to what we wanted (shown in the screen shot with a green check mark) but it did not change the items shown in the screen shot with a red line next to them. Is there a different place where in loco translate where those are changed?

Hi,

We have checked the translation in Loco Translate > Plugins > WooCommerce, and it works, please try to synchronize Loco Translate as described in this doc How to change any static text - HivePress Help Center. Also, If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users.

OK, I will work on the sychronize for WooCommerce.

Forgive my ignorance, but I keep seeing reference to making sure that “caching is disabled for logged-in users”. What does this mean? and where is this setting?

Hi,

If you are using a caching plugin, you can do this in the plugin settings.
