Currently there’s no such option, users can search by any categories by default (hiding a specific level would require a custom code snippet), but we plan to add multi-level selection to improve the UX, so maybe this will resolve the issue. Users will be able to navigate 1 category level at a time.
Hi @ihor This makes the user experience bad. Imagine a website with 100 subcategories, do users have to scroll through 100 categories before finding their desired category?
It’s already possible when editing listings, but not for search yet, although we added a search field to the drop-down in the recent update so it’s possible to search options until we add the same multi-level UI as in the edit context.
