I recently purchased two of your themes—MeetingHive and RentalHive—and would like to integrate WooCommerce to sell products on both sites. However, I’ve noticed that neither theme sources official styling for WooCommerce out of the box.
Are there recommended approaches, add-ons, or snippets that might help achieve a more seamless WooCommerce integration without compromising the original design? Any advice on how to set this up, or on compatibility considerations, would be greatly appreciated.
I have a second inquiry: Would it be possible to utilize the MeetingHive theme and marketplace extension to sell a product? I have created authors for MeetingHive, and now I need to sell their books. Is it possible via Woocommerce? Please note that we need styled products (like Rent version is) to purchase as a product. We will create all the details for the book, such as the cover style, pages, colors, etc., and the user will purchase it. The best example is the RentalHive WooCommerce checkout, but instead of renting, you can buy a book. Thanks
Thank you so much for your response and for clarifying how HivePress works!
Yes, it’s perfectly fine to sell “The Book” as a service (technically). However, I was wondering if it’s possible to figure out the design aspect? Specifically, I’d like to add images, a detailed book description, and technical details such as the book cover, page count, etc., to make the product visually appealing and informative for buyers.
P.S. Would it be possible to see any live examples of selling a product as a service (technically) using HivePress? It would be really helpful to understand how this could work in practice.
