Is there an API available for this, or at least a way to use IPN (Instant Payment Notification), possibly in conjunction with WooCommerce? If possible, we’d like to implement this internally without using tools like Make.

Unfortunately, we are not familiar with this setup, as HivePress relies on WooCommerce for payment processing.
If Digistore24 is a third-party payment method, you would need to check whether they provide an integration with WordPress or WooCommerce directly. From what we could find, there is a WordPress plugin available here:

Thank you very much for your quick response. I would really like to avoid having to go through Zapier/Make. Unfortunately, however, there doesn’t seem to be a native way to automate the checkout process with the reseller Digistore24 directly within WooCommerce on my website. That is exactly the problem.
HivePress simply integrates with WooCommerce and syncs with WooCommerce order statuses. The actual payment processing and payment gateway integrations are handled by WooCommerce and its extensions.
In this case, I would recommend reaching out to the Digistore24 support team directly. They should be able to confirm the available integration options and the recommended setup for WordPress/WooCommerce websites.
If they provide a WooCommerce-compatible solution, it should generally work alongside HivePress as well.
