Is there a way to change the current bullet points to something else?

Hi Guys

I have a few questions if you would be so kind to assist.

  1. Is it possible to add a dropdown menu to a button on the top of the home screen? We prefer to have a dropdown on the page and not on the header. I have added a navigation menu and just added code to create a button look, but was wondering if there is an option to add a button and link the button to a menu item with sub-catergories?

The navigation option adds both my two main menu items to the same “button”. We would prefer to have it as 2 separate buttons.

  1. How do we find the request page as we don’t seem to have a separate page under our pages?

  2. Is there a way to change the current bullet points to something else, maybe coloured circles or maybe arrows?

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi,

  1. You can customize the menu using this documentation: How to customize menus - HivePress Help Center. If you need another addition that is not described in this documentation, it will require a custom implementation.

  2. You can usually find the requests page at this link: Requests – ExpertHive

  3. Yes, it is possible, but it will also require a custom implementation. If customizations are required for your site, please try customizing it using the collection of code snippets Search · user:hivepress · GitHub and other developer resources, or consider hiring someone for custom work https://fvrr.co/32e7LvY

I hope this is helpful to you.

HI Andrii

Thank you for your reply.

  1. I got this sorted, We ended up using ccs to remove the listing and post a request buttons.

  2. We are on meetinghive. We do have experthive too. Can we add post a request as a page?

  3. I still have to try this one. thank you.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

The MeetingHive theme does not have the Requests extension, so you need to purchase the Requests extension to add such a page.

HI Andrii

We have purchased the plugin package, meetinghive and experthive.

Hi,

Then you need to install and activate the Requests extension, and you should see the Requests page. If it does not appear, you can simply create it with the title Requests using this doc: How to customize pages - HivePress Help Center and add it to the menu using this doc: How to customize menus - HivePress Help Center. Also, you need to select this page in HivePress > Settings > Requests > Requests Page.

I hope this is helpful to you.
