On our listing page the description is full length for a listing. Is there a way to limit what is shown so that the layout is not broken by long descriptions?

Probably on the listing block but let me look. I just got to my desk this morning. It’s 8:08 AM here.
I am trying to figure out what pages the description is displayed. It is only in the listing block? As far as I can tell with my current settings it’s only in the listing block on my installation.
