Missing block styles after wordpress update

Hi,

since the latest major Wordpress update, when editing any page or template, the display/styling of every Wordpress block, Hivepress block, or text, has been changed/removed.

Everything works, but it is very annoying. I am not sure if it has to do with Hivepress at all, but I have another website not running Hivepress and there it shows the normal styling and new Wordpress items.

Here are a few screenshots.

This is now my normal editing page, in this case for the listing template. Everything is without styling. Hivepress blocks don’t show properly, and when selecting a block to edit it, the right menu (block editing) blocks the regular menu. So I have to close the block editing menu to be able to see the “Save” button.
Here is another screenshot, showing the same editing page, but after having clicked on the left menu to insert a Pattern or Media

Now suddenly everything is styled correctly, but I can’t click on any blocks, since the editor is waiting for me to choose a pattern…

Since nobody has complained, I guess it has something to do with my own system. I tried to disable all plugins, and even the Rentalhive theme, but nothing changed.

I am using Firefox as a browser. The other website I work with (without Hivepress), which shows all correctly, runs on Brave browser.

Any ideas/suggestions from anyone?

Thank you!

Hi,

If you have tested everything in more detail, please check the JS console, and if there are any errors, copy them and send them to us here, we will check them in more detail.

Hi,

below are all the warnings I get from the console when editing the Hivepress Listing template (although the same problem applies to any page that I edit):

  • This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”.
  • Some cookies are misusing the recommended “SameSite“ attribute
  • Declaring non-string block descriptions is deprecated since version 6.2.
  • wp.blockEditor.transformStyles Failed to transform CSS. TypeError: n.findLastIndex is not a function (to debug: block-editor.min.js:21:505465)
  • wp.blockEditor.transformStyles Failed to transform CSS. TypeError: n.findLastIndex is not a function …(This same error appears 12 times)
  • Relative positioning of table rows and row groups is now supported. This site may need to be updated because it may depend on this feature having no effect.

I have no clue what’s going on since I tried deactivating all plugins and the Rentalhive theme and it did not have any effect

Hope you can help

Thanks in advance!
