Move listing items to Product (Woocommerce) item based on a particular category

I have 2 types of users, one who provides a service lists their services in listing page, and the second type of user lists Products that they sell. I want the products go to the Product section instead of (or move from) listing based on “category” say “product”. Please help.

Please provide more details, are you using the Marketplace extension? Because HivePress doesn’t have a feature for WooCommerce by default, there listings and page listing are not WooCommerce products.

No I am not using Marketplace since it is paid. But even if I do use it after a purchase, will I be able to segregate the products to “products” section and services to “listings” section based on a certain “Categories” ?

Hi,

In any case, even with the Marketplace extension, WooCommerce product pages are not used because HivePress has its own listings and layouts. Marketplace has a feature where you can disable sales for certain categories. But, please note that Marketplace is suitable for digital products (i.e. for services or if you have a product that needs to be delivered, then this extension will not work, as there are no shipping features).
