New user password link redirects to sign in page

Hi,

When users sign up to a membership plan, they are sent an email requesting for a password to be set. This link however sends them to the log in page where they are prompted for a username and password or to register.

How can I fix this?

Hi,

Could you please clarify whether you’re using third-party plugins or the built-in wp register form? By default, a user creates the password during registration, not via email. After registering, they only receive an email to verify their address.
