Can the Marketplace extension and the Requests extension work together in a way that, when a user searches for a listing in a particular location and there are no available listings, they can click a button to make a request instead?

Unfortunately, there is no simple solution for this, as this feature is not available in this version of the theme. This requires additional customization and custom implementation.
