It seems that all vendors receive a mail with " There are new requests available" even there are no new request.
ANd maybe it is better to send only this mail for request in the same category as the vendor and request to lower the amount of email
Please check the common Requests page, maybe a new request got the Published status recently? There’s a trigger that checks the date of the most recent request, if it’s later than the previous one then the email notification is sent.
Yes, currently this notification is global, you can try using Search Alerts as a workaround, then vendors can set up specific search alerts by category, location, etc.
