Offer accepted confirmation

I have this site setup so an event organiser publishes an event, a musician/band then bids on that event, which is working but when the event organiser accepts the offer nothing happens. Ideally an email should be sent to the artist to say hte offer has been accepted etc but nothing happens.

Ideally this is the workflow that is required:
When an Event Organiser clicks “Accept Offer”, the following occurs:

  1. Musician receives notification (via email and on portal):
“Your offer has been accepted for [Event Name] on [Date]. Confirm your availability to finalise the booking.”
On their portal, the Musician must click “Confirm Booking” action button however, this button will only work once the Musician approves the terms and conditions check box beside the button.
  2. Event Organiser is taken through to payment gateway page where they will be responsible for paying a 25% deposit of the Bid Amount plus 50% of the additional expenses.
  3. Once confirmed:
    • A Booking Confirmation page is generated (digital agreement, optional PDF)
    • Email confirmation is provided to both the musician and event organiser during these steps

Hi,

We recommend using the New Order email, which is sent to the selected musician when a new order is created. If you’re using the Marketplace extension, please note that accepting the order also means paying for it — the Accept Offer button redirects directly to the payment.

Additionally, you can customize the New Order email in HivePress > Emails.

PDF generation and other specific features would require advanced customization.

Hope I helped with your request

The new order email goes to the person that has paid (the organiser) and the admin but the artist (vendor) that placed the bid doesn’t get anything.

There’s a separate “New Order” email for the vendor, please make sure that the paid order gets the Processing (paid) status – it works this way by default if the payment method is set up correctly (then the order gets a notification from the payment method on succesful payment and changes its status to Processing).

The customer’s New Order email is sent by WooCommerce, while the vendor’s New Order email is sent by HivePress and can be customized in HivePress/Emails section.

Hope this helps

I’ve set up all of this but no-one is getting the email notifications.
