# Only add listings on the backend (by the admin)

Hi,

Is it possible to only have admin/site owner post listings and for no one else to have that option?  
Will only having the site owner be able to post listings cause issues with the site speed and operation?

Hi,

You can disable the submission feature in **HivePress \> Settings \> Listings**.

Also, it will not cause any issues.
