Percentage pricing for sellers

I am working on creating a classified ads sort of marketplace like craigslist. that has lets say 3 categories. lets just say these are the categories (this is hypothetical just so that I can understand):

1. cars
2. Electronics
3. Clothes

Just like a basic classified ads marketplace, the idea is that sellers can get on my platform, and list their good for a certain fee. Buyers can just browse and get into contact with the seller free of cost.

My question is: is it possible to have different form of pricing scheme per category? If so is it possible to have percentage pricing?

for example:

For the category of cars, the seller will be charged a flat fee of 10 dollars per car listing.

For the category of electronics, the seller will be charged a percentage based fee. So if they are selling a phone for 100 dollars, they will be charged 5% of that. Therefore they pay 5 dollars to list that 100 dollar phone.

For category of clothing, the sellers can list their clothes for free without any fees.

As you can see there are different pricing schemes in each category. I was wondering if this is actually feasible using listinghive or even using any of the other themes/extensions/features that hivepress offers.

I would really appreciate any kind of support, I am fairly new in this space so the more elaborate the response, the more helpful it would be for me!

If you mean not to sell anything through the site itself, but to take a commission from sellers for placing listings, then Paid Listings unfortunately does not have a percentage of the listing price, it will require custom implementation.
