Hiding A Menu Item No Longer Empties The Page Behind It - If you use another plugin like my Menu Enhancer for HivePress to take an item off the account menu, this one read that as the page having nothing on it, so the page showed the “nothing here yet” notice with its real contents wiped out, even for a member with listings, bookings or messages sitting there. Whether a page is empty is now judged only on what the extensions themselves put in the menu.

Updates Are Offered Again - On 1.6.4 a published release was never shown on the Plugins screen.

No More False “Could Not Reach GitHub” - That warning appeared when nothing was wrong, and a failed check could hide an update that was genuinely waiting.
Important If You Are On 1.6.4
1.6.4’s broken update check is the very fault this fixes, so it cannot fetch this update for you. Download the zip and upload it over the top once. Everything behaves normally from then on.
On any other version, update via your dashboard as usual!
