I need support on how to change the post template so the Post Details (I can see this is the area using the Chrome Inspect window) are not displayed. I don’t want date, author or comments.
I’m happy to add some code in the custom css section. I have tried various things but nothing has worked so far. Can you point me towards the code to do this.
I also need help on how to set the height of the top banner in a post (which shows the featured image). It is taking up about half of my screen (height wise).
I also need help on how to remove all visibility of my name as a user. It has no relevance to the site as I am the only person who has uploaded material - and this will remain so. At the moment I notice that it is still there on the published site inviting me to log in and my name shows up on each listing page (eg here: Moreton-in-Marsh – GreatVillages.co.uk). I have changed the settings so they now don’t allow uploading of listings by the way.
Hi Andrii. I have now been able to deal with my first customization query as, using an FTP upload, I have now managed to remove the post details from the top bar in a post.
I have now given up on the using the listings all together due to inflexibility in the layout etc. I still need to remove some bits at the bottom of the post layout in the theme and will let you know if I struggle.
Given that I have been able to make zero use of the import add-in can you please make a refund of the cost of that or advise how I do that.
Please try using this CSS snippet to hide the post details (in Appearance/Customize/Additional CSS):
.post__details{display:none!important}
You can do the same if you check any element via the highlight developer tool in the browser. Also, you can try using a plugin like this one Visual CSS Style Editor – Wtyczka WordPress | WordPress.org Polska Please note that while we can provide some general guidance, design/styling customization beyond the available theme options is outside of the support scope.
For a refund request, please send the order details (e.g. order number or email) to support@hivepress.io
I have now applied for a refund via Paddle.net who should have contacted you. Just so you know the Import extension does not do what Andrii told me it shoud which is to import attributes from a spreadsheet. There are no instructions or screenshots on how to do this. All he could say was that the data needed to be in acompatible format! When I did an import there was no functionality to map fields in my spreadsheet to attributes. I wasted several hours trying to get it working!!
Sorry if you had a bad experience. If you purchased it 30 days ago or less, the refund will be processed by someone from our staff, we’ll reply via email.
The import extension should allow importing listing along with any attributes via CSV, regardless of the CSV column labels, but there may be issues caused by other plugins, website settings, and there’s currently a known bug related to specific attributes types (e.g. Repeater) which can’t be imported - we plan to fix this in the next update.
Hi there. Further question for you about the Theme. I would like the menu on a tablet to be the same as the desktop version (as opposed to the mobile hamburger version). How can I do this?
Unfortunately, there’s no such feature, it would require a custom implementation. If customizations are required for your site, please try customizing it using the collection of code snippets Search · user:hivepress · GitHub and other developer resources, or consider hiring someone for custom work Experts | HivePress
