Quantity for booking

hello,

When I set a quantity of one (1) on a booking I would like to prevent two people from booking the same dates but what it’s doing instead is that it wont allow me to have more that one bookings on the same ad. Is there a code snippet to make booking quantities per day ? Especially because Ihave many types of ads and the one not using the booking fonctionality are working fine.

Please note that if you use the Bookings extension, we recommend enabling the guests feature instead of the quantity feature when using this documentation: How to add guests to bookings - HivePress Help Center, as the quantity feature works only with the Marketplace extension.

Hi,

I have tried it but it doesn’t solve the issue. If I set the max guest at 10 for example, I will be able to book as many times as I want in as much I don’t book for more that one person at once. What I would like in that case is that if I make a booking for 8, the next person won’t be able to book for more t han 2 guests. Is it possible to do so ?
Also, I have both listings and bookings on the website. Is it possible to have a snippet that hide the quantitity feature on bookings please ?

Hi,

  1. This is how it works if you have Allow multiple places per booking and Allow multiple bookings per time period enabled and the Maximum Guests per Booking field is set to 10, then when one user books for 8 guests, the other will be able to book for only 2 guests.

  2. Please navigate to HivePress > Settings > Listings and disable the Allow sellers to limit quantity feature.
