Search predictions in the keywords field

Last idea for today!

It would be nice if the search bar could present predictions of what the end user is about to type, a bit like how Google adds extra keywords. However, my idea would possibly instead just search all of the listings/vendors to generate predictions.

For example, if I created a Air-bnb style site, and presuming there was a listing that had been created called “2-bed Apartment in Spain” - if an end user began typing “2-bed” they could optionally click on the suggested “2-bed Apartment”…

Clicking on “2-bed Apartment” could then possibly fill the search field, but then present “2-bed Apartment in Spain” to click on, or obviously it could just show the full text as the first suggestion…

Just a few ways of making it more convenient for end-users, and helpful for vendors ‘things’ to be found more easily.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip, this feature is already in our backlog. As a temporary solution, you can try using the Algolia plugin.
