Hi, the shortcode %listing% in the template e-mails (this happened in the Rejected Listing e-mail for example), doesn’t convert itself into a link to the listing but it just stays as it is. So the user receive this e-mail (sample):
Your Listing “Beautiful Hotel with sea view” was rejected.
You can still edit your listing here: %listing%
(The same e-mail in the back end is:
Your Listing “listing_title%” was rejected.
You can still edit your listing here: %listing%)
Hi, thanks for your reply. I read that topic now, I just want to make sure how it works. If for example I want to use %listing% so it can become a link to redirect the user to the listing that needs to be modified after rejection, how can I transform that %listing% field?
Just to make it clear, I want something like:
Backend:
Your Listing “listing_title%” was rejected.
You can still edit your listing here: %listing%
Unfortunately, there’s no such feature, it would require a custom implementation.
Because there is no such process, when a listing is rejected, it does not appear for editing in the future. As a workaround, you can reject a listing, then move it to the draft and notify the vendor to make changes.
