Hi, I was searching for a way to show listings for a specific category. I want to use this on my front page to show last 3 listings for each category. I was not able to find this option nor any thread. Can you assist? Olaf

I just tried, it seems there’s no built-in option for this in the listing block, but with some custom coding,like a shortcode, it would be possible.
Basically filtering listing by category is what is done on the /listings/ page so it is definitely possible.

Please clarify what exactly per category means. You can use the Listings block, and a category selection is available in the block settings. Also, if you need a built-in type to show the last 3 listings (links to them) in each category of the card, it is possible, but it will require a custom implementation.
Hi, I have setup a total of 8 categories (city portal) on hivepress, on my front page I want to show the last 3 listings per category (meaning 8 blocks). I cannot see a way to do this. I was not able to find the listing block - can you advice. It would be cool if one can select the category in the listing block. I only see include by term and author. So if this will require custom work - let me know.

Please note that the screenshot does not show the HivePress functionality; most likely, you are using a third-party plugin, as we do not have such settings.
OK, I am using the finder theme. Is there any hivepress feature I can use to show the ribbon as described - maybe a custom widget? Olaf
I found a solution. It can be done using the “term” query. This will open up a new field were you can query the categories. Solved!
