# Slow Search on large listing website

I have a listing website that has over 24,000 pages, but the Hivepress search is very slow  
what can I do to improve this?

Please note that HivePress does not affect the loading speed of your site or the number of listings in any way. It all depends on the hosting provider and the optimization of your site. While the site loads without any issues, and users can browse it without problems  
the search function can’t deal with the large number of listings  
it takes 10 - 12 seconds for a free keyword search

What can I do to improve this? Or is this an issue on your end?

From our side, we do not affect the speed of your website in any way, it all depends on third-party plugins, customizations, and the hosting provider and its settings.
