Some system emails are send to the admin not to the users

Hello,

I noticed that some of the system emails like new published listing, password change and new vendor registrations are send only to the admin’s email, but not to the user email.

I was thinking that they are send to the both emails, but after some tests it turns out that they are send only to the admin.

I don’t have any created email templates, I just did a translation with Loco Translate plugin.

Hi,

Please note that emails regarding new published listings, password changes, and new vendor registrations are generated at the WordPress core level and are not connected to HivePress. These emails are triggered by WordPress post events to notify admins, for example, if an admin password is changed without confirmation.

If you want to disable these notifications, you can do so by adding custom code snippets or using third-party plugins.

Hope this helps.

I mean, the emails are send to the admin instead to the users. The users are not receiving email for these events.

Those events are not intended for users, they’re default WordPress notifications for admins. HivePress emails for users are triggered by different events, such as when a user registers [they should receive a welcome email]. You can customize these emails in WP > HivePress > Emails [How to customize emails - HivePress Help Center]. If users aren’t receiving these emails, please make sure your email settings are configured correctly: How to set up emails - HivePress Help Center.

Hope I helped with your request.

Is it possible for vendors to receive an email about newly published listings?

Do you mean when a vendor’s own listings are published or when listings from other vendors are published?

If you’re referring to a vendor’s own listings, a Listing Approved email is sent when the listing is approved [this feature is available if manual approval of listings is enabled in WP > HivePress > Settings > Listings]. If this feature is not enabled, the vendor is redirected to the listing they created after submission, allowing them to see that the listing has been published.

Hope I helped with your request.

It’s answering my question. Thanx!
