Sorting order (listings) within category

When I create a category and add few regular listings and few featured listings, the order is:

(https://domain.com/listing-category/categoryname/)

  1. Featured listings: random
  2. Regular listings: By date, desc.

How can I change default order to:

  1. Featured listings: by date asc (oldest on top), no random
  2. Regular listings: by date asc (oldest on top)

Unfortunately, there’s no such feature, it would require a custom implementation.
