Hello HivePress Support,

I am contacting you regarding the configuration of Stripe Connect with HivePress Marketplace on my platform, Vite Vu Vite Vendu.

My current setup is:

• WordPress with RentalHive

• HivePress

• HivePress Marketplace

• HivePress Bookings

• WooCommerce

• Stripe for customer payments

• Marketplace commission set to 10%

My company, GT INVEST, is a French SAS registered in Guadeloupe (97139 Les Abymes, France).

My main Stripe account is registered with France (FR) as the country and is working correctly. Customers can already book properties and successfully pay by card through WooCommerce and Stripe.

The issue only concerns automatic payouts to property owners/hosts through Stripe Connect.

When I try to configure Stripe Connect through HivePress, I encounter an issue related to Guadeloupe (GP). However, Stripe requires businesses located in Guadeloupe to register under France (FR).

The payment flow I would like to implement is:

1. A guest books a property through Vite Vu Vite Vendu.

2. The guest pays for the booking online through Stripe.

3. HivePress Marketplace automatically applies our 10% platform commission.

4. The remaining 90% is allocated to the property owner/host, subject to any applicable payment processing fees.

5. The host’s earnings are automatically paid out through Stripe Connect.

Could you please clarify the following points?

• Is Stripe Connect supported by HivePress Marketplace for a marketplace company based in Guadeloupe?

• How can I make HivePress use France (FR) instead of Guadeloupe (GP) when creating a Stripe connected account?

• Can property owners located in Guadeloupe onboard through HivePress using a French Stripe Express connected account?

• Is there a HivePress setting that controls the country sent to Stripe during Connect onboarding?

• If HivePress automatically sends GP to Stripe, is there an official hook, filter or code snippet that can force FR instead?

• Can this be done while keeping the property owner’s actual address in Guadeloupe?

• Is the complete setup — HivePress Bookings + Marketplace + 10% commission + Stripe Connect automatic payouts — currently supported?

• If Stripe Connect cannot be used in this situation, which payout method would you recommend for automating payments to property owners?

To clarify, customer payments are already working correctly through WooCommerce and Stripe. The issue is specifically related to Stripe Connect and payouts to property owners.

My goal is to automate the payout process as much as possible rather than manually processing each host payout.

I can provide screenshots of the error message and my HivePress configuration if required.

Thanks for the detailed issue report.

Please make sure that the country set in WooCommerce/Settings matches the main Stripe Connect account country. Then vendors can select their country when registering (on the Complete Profile page), there’s a Country drop-down – the selected country is passed to Stripe when a connected Stripe Express account onboarding is initiated.

HivePress Markertplace just uses Stripe API endpoints to initiate the onboarding and send payouts on order completion, if there are any country restrictions, these are set on the Stripe side, please check more details in their docs Stripe global availability

Changing the country in WooCommerce settings and also making sure that France (or other country supported by Stripe Connect for payouts from France) is selected by vendors on registration, may resolve the described issue.
