The buy now button does not work

I’ve created categories for all products. I’ve created subcategories for each and labeled them as “for rent” and “for sale”. I’ve created products so I can test how users would be able to categorize their items that they post to be rented and those they are selling. Though I add these test products under subcategories of “for rent”, “for sale” the ones listed for sale can’t be added to a cart and when I click the “buy it” button there’s no redirect to the checkout page. It’s as if everything can only be rented or “booked” and users would have to enter booking dates for things that are on sale. I have Hivepress marketplace installed along with about 46 other recommended plugins, yet I can’t figure out what to do to handle things for sale, not just for rent…Any help on this? Thanks!

Hi,

Please refresh the permalink structure in Settings/Permalinks (choose any structure with %postname% if the default one is selected) and check if this issue persists. Also, please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, ensure that caching is disabled for logged-in users. If the issue still exists, please provide us with more details on what exactly is displayed after you click on the buy now button.

Hi again, I’ve selected the permalink structure that has %postname% and saved it but my test products categorized for sale still takes me through the booking process requiring the input of amount of days product is being booked for,as if it is only being rented, not sold. Still don’t know how to set it up so users can add listings that are for sale and for rent. And the terms link at registration still takes me to the premium listings purchase page in the shop. But the terms link in the footer of Home page goes to the terms page. Only new registration and checkout page terms link aren’t working properly. It sounds like you’ve suggested that I disable all 47+ plugins, then see if the terms link at registration goes to the terms page and if it does, then 1 by 1 reactivate plugins to try to find out which of the more than 47 plugins is causing the conflict? This is the point where I would be very willing to hire someone to work out these last kinks.

Hi,

Please send temporary WP access to support@hivepress.io with details for reproducing this issue, and we’ll check it (please send only the link, without login and password). You can create a temporary access link using this plugin Temporary Login Without Password – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org.
