The deleted category is still displayed in the front end



  • I cleared the browser cache. I tried incognito, tried another browser (Microsoft Edge).
  • No cache plugins installed.
  • Hostinger support said there is no caching on my server side.

The category “new” that was deleted (pic 1) are still there (pic 2)! Please help. I have no idea where to dig

Steps to reproduce

Add a new category (Chrome browser). go to add listing (incognito). pick a new category. go back to admin panel(Chrome browser). delete category. go back to add listing (incognito). the deleted category is still there. did what you suggest, cleared browser. open from another browser (microsoft edge) etc.

erased category is still there

when you delete something it must be gone

I added another one new category, then deleted it. And it fixed the problem. Just letting you know

Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users. Also, try re-saving an existing category, then the category cache should be updated.
