Unable recurring membership payments (monthly or Annual)

Hi,

I have memberships plugin installed and have created Plans.

Now here is my question:

Is Woocomerce subscriptions the only supported extension for auto recurring payments? the reviews on this extension are not really good.

Could you please suggest other possible supported options if they exists ?

Also, would limiting requests page to only vendors on a paid membership create a good experience for newly launched platform? ( please give me your advice if you don’t mind).

At the moment, only integration with WooCommerce Subscriptions is available. We’re planning to add more affordable subscription options in the future, but we can’t provide an exact ETA for when this will be implemented.

Regarding your question about limiting the requests page to only vendors on a paid membership, honestly this comes down to your business philosophy and what feels right for your project, but I wanted to share some thoughts from a platform growth perspective. For a newly launched platform, requiring payment upfront could actually hurt your initial growth since you’re creating friction before vendors can even see the value, and it’s harder to demonstrate what you’re offering before they’ve experienced the platform firsthand.

Some approaches suggest keeping barriers to entry as low as possible initially, so you might consider starting with free access to requests and then transitioning to paid memberships once you have a solid base of active users posting requests and can show proven value that vendors can see.

Alternatively, you could offer a freemium model where basic access to requests is free, but premium features like offer posting require a paid membership, which gives vendors a taste of what’s possible while still creating an option to upgrade.

But please note that this is only one perspective, and you shouldn’t follow it blindly, you know your market and users best. You might want to create a topic on Reddit in a dedicated community to get more expert opinions on this strategy, as there are people who’ve been through similar decisions and can share what worked (or didn’t work) for them.
