Using the same site for listings and partners

Hi,

I want to make sure that I am adding things right before changing the site www.findyourretreat.de.

Retreat providers can list their retreats on my site.
Now I would like to change the page so that partners for retreats can also be registered. Partners are e.g. chefs, planners, manufacturers of yoga accessories etc. That’s why I create two different top level categories for providers with category-specific attributes. Prices for partners also differ from the prices for retreat providers.

But the listings for the new partner provider category should not appear on the listings page, but on a separate page that I can also list separately in the menu.

How can I implement this? And is it the right method?

Best regards,
Sabine

Hi,

Yes, it is possible, but such an implementation requires a more detailed review of the code to evaluate this implementation in more detail.

Hi,

and is it possible that you can review the code for me in a custom implementation?

Hi,

Unfortunately, we do not provide such services. If customizations are required for your site, please try customizing it using the collection of code snippets Search · user:hivepress · GitHub and other developer resources, or consider hiring someone for custom work https://fvrr.co/32e7LvY

Hi,

thanks for your reply.
I made it to implement nearly everything but there is something I have to clarify. Perhaps you can help me:

Is there any snippet which I can use to exclude special categories and / or users to be shown on latest entry, latest listings and latest user?

What would be most important to me is that the entry is not on latest listings on the home page.

Hi,

Sorry, there’s no simple code snippet for this, it would require a custom implementation.
