Add listing filter or search to homepage as a sidebar

I have a question about the homepage design and the design can be altered slightly

Is it possible to add the listing filter widget that’s on the all listings page in the sidebar onto the homepage?

What I want to do is add a search form to be in a first column on left side which will have min and max price slider like the filter one does on the listings page, a location field so the user can search by location and also a custom field called age which will be a custom field added to the add listing page so the homepage will have two columns similar to the listings layout that has the left sidebar then listings on the right

Could I copy the search form from the homepage and modify it so it can include a price field that will have min and max fields so the user can enter the min and max price they want to look for and same for the age part so will have min and max for age of dog
