Adding a listing via the back-end and selecting user as a Vendor (to create vendor profile)

When I (as the admin) try to select a wordpress user as the vendor, it doesn’t recognize any of the users. Suggestions?

Hi,
Please make sure that the user you are trying to find has at least a contributor role.
Also, you need at least three words to find a user.
