I am reaching out to you because I am having an issue with customizing email templates in HivePress Rental Theme. I hope you can help me with this problem.
Currently, I have a booking listing and one product on my site (premium host plan) that are being linked to an email categorized as “order complete”. However, I would like to create a custom email thanking our hosts for buying the premium plan and also create an email saying the booking is complete. I want to add a new email attached to a single product purchase and disassociate it with the “order completed” email.
I have tried to modify the email templates, but I am unable to figure out how to create a new email template and associate it with a single product purchase.
I would appreciate it if you could help me by providing guidance on how I can add a new email template for a single product purchase and disassociate it with the “order completed” email.

Thanks for the details. Unfortunately there’s no such email event, there’s a common event for the Order Complete action in the current version. If you use Bookings please try using its email events for booking-specific emails, or follow the same suggestion for other extensions (each extension may register its own email events).
Creating a custom email event is possible, but this would require code customizations.
Please elaborate on the code customizations. We are working on this today. It is crucial for a QUALITY booking directory. Please let me know IHor i am stressed out.
I meant that unfortunately there’s no functionality that you described at the moment, there’s no such email event yet and implementing this would require code customizations. I’m sorry for the inconvenience and I understand that it’s better when the software 100% matches all the specific project requirements but it’s a rare case, e.g. if you check another directory plugin this separate order emails feature may be available but another one may be missing. Depending on the project requirements, customizations may be required (e.g. minor styling fixes or implementing new features, like in this case).
Our support policy is the same to any other developers out there (e.g. ThemeForest has the same one), by purchasing a fixed-price license you purchase software with a set of features advertised and available at the time of purchase. You can suggest features and we listen to the community to release updates and add features, but we can’t urgently add the requested features just for your project, only hired developers can do this.
