Advice needed: Marketing strategy for Directory sites (or hiring a consultant?)

Hi everyone,

We are building a niche directory site using HivePress and are looking to hire a freelance consultant to help us refine our social media and GTM strategy.

Since directory marketing is unique (chicken-and-egg problem, user acquisition vs. listing acquisition), we are specifically looking for someone with experience growing directory or listing platforms.

Does anyone have recommendations for experts in this space, or is anyone here open to a consultation?

I don’t have an exact recommendation, but you can consider looking for such experts on Upwork or Fiverr, as you can choose someone within your price range, with the right expertise and verified reviews. I’d also suggest checking dedicated Reddit threads. Additionally, there’s a lot of accessible information available online regarding this (e.g., Matt Diggity and similar experts), so you can learn something on your own.
