Allow adding vendors to favorites

Hi! I suggest adding an option that allows us to allow the user to favorite the vendor, in addition to the ad.

Thanks, we’ll consider adding this feature. As a workaround, you can already use the Followers extension that we used as a sample for this tutorial GitHub - hivepress/foo-followers: A sample extension created for the HivePress developer docs.

That “Favorites” feature, doesn this only works for “listings”, the little heart icon in the demo site ?

I can’t say that i found much information in the “documenttaion” :smiley:

For my needs i’d need that to be enabled for vendors, requests and user that post the requests.

I have installed it on an almost blank hivepress/hive expert and no button is showing up.

Yes, this extension is working, it just hasn’t been updated for a long time because there is no need for it yet.

No joy for me :-/

I tried to duplicate and adapt the “hivepress-favorites”
Because I think everybody, users and vendors should be able to follow any other type of users and listings/requests.

But I fabulously failed. Its not a priority either for my customer but that might come so I’ll probably have to hire someone for that.

I am looking to get the same result. I need users to be able to follow each other, not necessarily vendors. Even regular users. For now I am using the followers extension but that just applies to vendors. Any way to apply it to regular users too? Anyone knows?
